Come join us for a day of discovery at our Melbourne campus. On the day you can learn all about our college, our courses, the complementary health industry and more. You can also learn some basic Kinesiology and Mind Body Medicine techniques which you can apply on yourself or others.

Here’s what’s in store for the day

Hear from our lecturers and find out about the type of work our graduates are doing. There will also be special offers on the day. Here’s a rundown of the day.

We will review:

  • The health industry with a focus on complementary medicine.
  • Where our health system is heading and the importance of complementary medicine in the future.
  • The importance of looking at human beings holistically when it comes to health and wellbeing.
  • Our courses: HLT52415 Diploma of Kinesiology, 10990NAT Diploma of Mind Body Medicine and 11203NAT Advanced Diploma of Integrative Complementary Medicine. Including course content, structures and comparisons between our courses.
  • Articulation pathways to other qualifications including degrees.
  • Career outcomes & What our graduates are doing, and the different areas they are working in.

12-1:30pm Lunch break

This 3 hour workshop introduces you to the world of Kinesiology and muscle monitoring. We will explore the 5 element theory from the traditional Chinese model. You will learn the basics of muscle monitoring and learn how to monitor 5 muscles that are related to 5 elements. We will also look at acupressure points that can be used to help bring each element closer to harmony. We will explore some fundamental Kinesiology techniques like emotional stress relieve and the neurolymphatic system. The workshop also touches on the use of essential oils and flower essences.

Some of the techniques that you will learn can be very beneficial for:

  • Stress reduction
  • Emotional stress release
  • Pain reduction
  • Improve overthinking

Each participant will receive a manual so they can use techniques at home or clinic
