David Corby

David’s passion is in understanding the links between the body and mind in order to help people recover wellness and joy. He has developed unique insights into disease processes, helping people understand what has driven their condition and life story, and in the process help them initiate life changes that improve their condition and help them find joy again.

David works in clinic online with clients all around the world and in person in Salamander Bay in Port Stephens.

One of David’s central tenants is that chronic disease represents a breakdown of the body’s innate capacity to heal itself, and that this breakdown is usually in part or fully driven by our lifestyle and psychological stress. By mapping out the underlying physiology and psychology of the disease or condition, David helps the client better understand how lifestyle and psychological factors are impinging their health.

David is the founder of the College and draws on a wide range of experience and learning, being an acupuncturist and integrative complementary therapist, with training in kinesiology, mind body medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, aromatherapy techniques and Western Medicine training. This unique blend of experience and learning he imparts to students of the College’s Integrative Complementary Medicine program.

David comes from a professional background, having worked as an economist and fund manager in financial markets. He has extensive experience at public speaking and teaching.

David is dedicated to his wife and two children who are a boundless source of inspiration and joy.
