Elise is a Transpersonal Art Therapist and Meditation Facilitator.
Elise’s practice is informed by Buddhist psychotherapy and somatic therapies. She is passionate about nature and creativity as healing modalities and uses a trauma-informed approach to hold a compassionate & non-judgemental space for clients.
Elise has experience facilitating groups, running a private practice and working in clinical settings, she has facilitated women’s circles, corporate team building, rites of passage work for teens & elders and works with neurodiverse artists as a consultant at Studio A.
As the Art Therapist in the Eating Disorders Unit at Wesley Mission hospital Elise integrated art therapy and somatic therapies in a traditionally clinical setting.
Using a variety of modalities including art, sound, meditation and movement, Elise tailors sessions to the individual client, creating a compassionate space to explore life’s challenges, transitions and joys in creative and embodied ways.
