Vicki is a senior lecturer across the Transpersonal Art Therapy and Counselling courses. She has over 30 years of experience within the creative and healing art and alongside her private practice, she has worked extensively as a group leader, facilitator and movement tutor.

From an early age, Vicki felt passionately committed to following a Spiritual Path. For many years she participated in the Work of the Spiritual Master Gurdjieff, where the central aim of the work is to become conscious. Complex Sacred Movements designed to activate all centres within one’s being, is a major part of this system. It was a solid foundation for her future personal, professional and spiritual work.

Her career centred on teaching, in particular, adults and children in the areas of Science & Technology, Drama, Storytelling and Movement. Vicki worked in the Department of Education for twenty years as a teacher and Science and Technology Consultant, as well as a freelance tutor in various centres, teaching movement, storytelling and drama.

Vicki says the study of Shamanism has answered a deep call within her. She has found her life’s purpose and immersed herself in the teachings on all levels. Her passion lies in the connection of Spirit and Body and the facilitation of this in others and she believes the hope for our planet and human kind lies in reconnecting with Spirit and the land.

Vicky and her partner Robert are the custodians of 56 acres of land in the Yarramalong Valley, a strong sacred land that offers healing to all those who visit.

“I am passionate about the earth and believe healthy, conscious people will also be conscious of how they respect the earth and its resources. Being involved with facilitating others to have transformative experiences and develop their potential and become conscious is a fulfilling path.”
  • Vicki is influenced by many great visionaries, in particular, Anna Halprin, Thomas Berry and Mary Oliver.
  • She loves travelling to foreign lands.
  • Making masks, felting and other creative pursuits make her happy.
  • Vicki believes in listening to the land.
  • She is Queen of the mixed metaphor – or so her partner tells her!

“You have been telling the people that this is the Eleventh hour, now you must go back and tell the people that this is the hour. And there are things to be considered…”

We must all take responsibility for our actions, how we live our lives and what is important to us – not only for ourselves and our communities but also for the planet.
